27 years since the first Land Rover Discovery arrived, we’re now on the brink of seeing the 5th generation of the boxy 7-seater SUV. In these pictures from Land Rover, we get our first view at the new Land Rover Discovery 5 – complete with a new design direction.
We can’t tell much as it’s only a frontal view, but the front end varies greatly from Discoverys of old, with high-mounted narrower headlights and wide framed air intakes.
We’ll see the new Discovery on September 28th ahead of the Paris Motor Show; we can bet I’ll still have that signature rear windscreen shape.
