Infiniti Q50 Eau Rouge gets ready to roar in Geneva: (Video)

Earlier this year we showed you the Infiniti Q50 Eau Rouge, which debuted in Detroit at the North American International Auto Show.  We speculated the drivetrain to be a twin-turbo V8, possibly sourced from Mercedes-Benz, with power outputs over 373kW and 814Nm high.  Now, we’re one step closer to finding out.

The identity of the Q50 Eau Rouge is said to be contained within its “big personality, V-cylinder engine with forced induction”.  Infiniti have today released a video teaser for the Eau Rouge, and we can confirm that it is without a doubt a V8 with sweet sounding turbocharged induction.

The Infiniti Q50 Eau Rouge will be the most powerful Infiniti ever built, and although it has not been confirmed for production, it is highly likely to reach the production line.  So enough of the banter, turn up the volume and watch the video below, then get ready for the official reveal of the Eau Rouge’s engine on March 4th at the Geneva International Motor Show:
